Sustainability needs evidence that can travel.

Turn hotel & venue operational data into benchmarked records stakeholders can trust, compare and reuse.

Independently verified by

Vague claims and labels are no longer enough.

What matters now is evidence.

Research across more than 6,000 hotels found that certification and self-reporting have little impact on guest perceptions or satisfaction.

That matters because hotels relying on badges and labels for marketing are solving the wrong problem.

The real pressure sits elsewhere. Hotels and venues are being asked to provide sustainability information that can withstand procurement review, disclosure requirements, financing discussions and audit-style scrutiny.

In 2025 alone, more than 270 major buyers requested environmental data from about 45,000 suppliers through CDP, while 640 investors with US$127 trillion in assets asked it to collect environmental disclosure data.

The direction of travel is also becoming clearer in regulation. Generic environmental claims such as “green” or “eco-friendly” will be banned in 2026 in the EU unless “recognised excellent environmental performance” can be demonstrated.

Many properties and venues already collect much of the underlying data internally. What they often lack is an independently reviewed, standardised way to turn it into something external stakeholders can trust, compare and reuse without repeated explanation, reformatting or challenge.

And that’s the gap Tuu is built to fill.

Why Tuu?

1. Credibility.

Independent HLB verification removes “trust us” risk.

2. Risk control.

Verified records and clear claim boundaries help reduce greenwashing and misstatement exposure.

3. Consistency.

Standardised outputs stakeholders can review, compare and reuse.

4. Comparison.

Performance shown against comparable properties and venues within the dataset.

5. Reusability.

One verification cycle supports procurement, finance, platforms, owners and disclosure.

What we do.

Tuu Verified turns a defined reporting period into an independently reviewed record supported by traceable evidence.

It sits alongside certification and consultancy, but serves a different job. Certification usually assesses systems, policies or standards. Consultancy usually helps teams improve, prepare or report. Tuu verifies what actually happened during a defined reporting period using primary records and declared boundaries.

Operational data is reviewed against source documents, including utility bills, invoices, waste logs, procurement records, employment registers and internal reports, where relevant. Each KPI is checked for completeness, accuracy and traceability.

Tuu can also support one-way data transfer through a connector, webhook or scheduled sync to reduce double handling.

The result? A period-specific Verification Record that shows what was measured, what evidence supports it, what claims can safely be made, and how performance compares within the dataset.

Each verification cycle produces:

  1. Verified record
A period-specific, independently reviewed record of scope, verification conclusion and KPI results.

  2. Benchmark context
Comparison against comparable hotels or venues within the dataset, giving external stakeholders clearer context for the results.

  3. Claim guidance
Approved communication boundaries linked to the verified dataset and reporting period, helping reduce greenwashing and misstatement risk.

  4. Performance insight
Analysis showing what is driving performance, where results are stronger or weaker, and how verified findings can be translated into clear stakeholder-ready communication.

One system. Three verification tracks.

  • Tuu Verified | Hotels

Twice-yearly operational verification for hotels, producing verified records, benchmarking and stakeholder-ready outputs for owner reporting, lender review, platform disclosure and claims control.

  • Tuu Verified | Events

Quarterly operational verification for venues and event operators, producing procurement-ready records and supporting evidence for tenders, questionnaires and client sustainability responses.

  • Tuu Verified | ISO 20121

Staged verification for venues preparing for ISO 20121, producing clause-mapped evidence and audit-ready outputs for readiness workflows.

Verified by HLB International.

Every Tuu Verified record is independently reviewed by HLB International, a global network of advisory and accounting firms operating in more than 150 countries

Each KPI is checked against primary evidence — including utility bills, invoices, logs and records — for completeness, accuracy and traceability.

The same review principles used in financial and ESG contexts are applied here: defined scope, defined period, documented evidence and a clear verification conclusion.

The result is sustainability performance data that stands up to scrutiny: independently verified, period-specific, benchmarked and structured in a consistent format for reporting, procurement, financing, and disclosure.

Is Tuu for you?

Tuu is designed for teams that already track sustainability data internally but need external stakeholders to trust it, compare it and rely on it without additional interpretation.

This means you can…

Respond to procurement and RFP requirements
where sustainability performance forms part of supplier evaluation, tender review and onboarding.

Support owner, lender and investor review
with a clearer, period-specific record of what was measured, what was reviewed and how performance compares.

Provide platforms and partners with usable data
in a consistent format they can compare and reuse without repeated reworking.

Strengthen claims control and external communication
using approved language linked to verified evidence and fixed reporting periods.

Prepare for disclosure and audit-style scrutiny
including ISO 20121-related requirements, with a record that is easier to follow, explain and defend.
